Embarkation was very crowded and it would have been nice to have been able to visit Zeebrugge as we had booked a day in Ghent. We were refunded and were compensated with a bottle of Asti Spumante but had paid to go to more ports than we were able. The most important thing was though that the captain and crew kept us safe in very difficult circumstances.

Everything was well maintained although the lifts look as if they have seen life.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was comfortable and although we were upgraded it was still small, the smallest bathroom I have seen!!
This port was ok and I'm glad we did an excursion. We did th Beatles, Beer and Bratwurst tour which was interesting and the guide very informative and passionate.
We didn't go to Ijmuiden as it was too rough to dock but we did go to Rotterdam which we liked a lot and this meant we were still able to go to Amsterdam as we had already bought tickets for the Anne Frank Museum
