Review summary

My husband & I had not cruised in 17 years and couldn’t believe how much everything had improved from the staterooms, to the ship’s ammenities, the caliber of the entertainment, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed it from the moment we booked. The email correspondence leading up to our sailing and the use of the app before, during and immediately after the trip really provided great communication. We can wait to book our next adventure!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only ate in the complimentary dining areas and there were plenty of options. We did not feel the need to pay extra for meals at the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The solarium pool had a zen atmosphere which we enjoyed on our only at sea day. There were many hot tubs and other water options. My husband enjoyed the water slide.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We absolutely loved all the shows. They had gorgeous costumes, wonderful choreography and we packed full of action. The comedians had my husband laughing so hard he was crying!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the crew members were smiling, friendly, approachable and willing to help in any way. We looked forward to seeing our wait staff in the main dining room each night!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and well-maintained. Directional signs throughout the ship were extremely helpful when navigating to the many events throughout the day. The “day of the week” displayed on the floor in the elevators was much appreciated!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our interior suite was the perfect size for 2 adults. The water in the shower was hot and forceful and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I am a neat freak and absolutely no issues with the cleaning if out room. The attendants made it pristine daily!

Ship tip

Do your research about each port and plan your excursions appropriately. 5 ports in 7 days is a lot, so take this in consideration when planning activities.

We only got off the bus once during the panoramic Rome tour, which was fine. However, I wish we had more than 45 minutes to explore while we were off the bus in Vatican City.
