Review summary

This cruise exceeded our expectations! We had such an amazing time and it's both relaxing and a ton of fun. It was our 2nd cruise, but it was the 1st cruise for a majority of our large group. Everyone was so happy and we most definitely will cruise again!

Embarkation

It's busy and a little bit overwhelming, but I think RC does as great of a job as they possibly can when you are corraling that many people through a boarding process and it does go very quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were beyond happy with all dining options. We had wonderful service everywhere we ate, and overall, it was just a fantastic experience!

Main Dining Room

5 out of 5

We had my time dining as I booked this cruise for a group of 27. On night 1 they helped us set up a standing large group dinner reservation for the duration of the trip. Our server, Jayesh and his assistant Munya, were literally out of this world. I can not give them enough praise for the service and just general happiness that they provided to our party each night! They are literal mind readers. It's truly unbelievable to see them work. The food was fantastic and the staff just took it to another level. We could not have had a better experience than we did!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There are so many things to do on this ship that it leaves no opportunity to be bored or wonder what you should do with your time.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We attended all of the entertainment. The comedians were phenomenal, the ice show was beyond our expectations and the impressionist was hilarious! The Aqua 80 show had to be rescheduled a few times because we had insane weather for a few days, but when we finally got to see it, I was mind blown! Where do they find these multi-talented entertainers?! I seriously was in awe of their talent. And while moving, in the ocean! It's truly incredible. Sadly, the only show I did not ooogle over was Cats. The performers, again, very talented, it just wasn't for me. I didn't really get all the jazz over it on Broadway and I felt the same seeing it on the ship. It didn't do anything for me, but there were tons of people who loved it.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I do not have small children. However, several people in our group do, and they raved about the children's activities and programs! I consistently heard from them that their littles did not want to leave the clubs!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was outstanding! Every person we encountered was friendly, I enjoyed getting to chat with so many of the staff. Again, I cannot praise their hard work enough. Our room attendant was Rowell and he took such great care of us. He saw us coming and would open our door for us, he was so kind!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship! Other than day 1 while everyone was waiting to get access to their cabin, there was really never a time where we felt crowded by the amount of people onboard. It flowed really well.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved our ocean balcony! On our 1st cruise we had a central park balcony, and it was nice as well, but the ocean balcony is 100% worth it. I could have spent my entire trip on that balcony and been perfectly happy!

Ship tip

It's all what you make of it. I would say the one thing I will do in the future is excursions. My original attitude was that they really aren't necessary, but I think if you want to see more than just shopping, planning excursions is probably the way to go. Barring the private island stops.

Ports of call

Falmouth, Jamaica

Last minute decided to get a driver and go on an "excursion". I think the original plan was for her to take us to Doctors Cove or something like that, she actually ended up just driving us around and pointing out various information about the area and its history. She also brought us to this incredible local place for jerk chicken. Best food, oh my goodness! I think it may have been called Scottys. Awesome day, hit the lottery with that driver and we just went with the flow. Even though we never landed where we signed up, I think what we did was much better! Her name was D and she was a hoot!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Absolutely loved it! My husband and our adult daughter did the coaster, they thought it was a blast. Food and entertainment were incredible. Great beach day! I did not go over to the shopping area as I had read from other reviews that the vendors can be overwhelming and pushy. My husband and daughter did go, and although they got some items they really liked, they did confirm that it is as described!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This was the stop I was looking forward to the most as I loved it last time. There was a crazy storm the day we were there, and we got called back to the ship early. Then, due to the horrible winds we were stuck at the port until about 3am when the wind died diwn enough to pull away from the pier. We were able to be off ship for a bit though, and everything was as awesome as I remembered. Great food, beautiful areas. Hope we can go again!

Miami, Florida

We stayed for a few days after the cruise to experience Miami. It was not for us. The beach is beautiful, but getting to and from anywhere is traffic, traffic and more traffic. I don't know if it's always that way or if there was an event creating the traffic during our time, but holy stress! I would highly recommend visiting the Wynnwood Walls though. Such a cool neighborhood! Tons of food truck markets and shops. It was the highlight of our stay.

Nassau, Bahamas

Very pretty, we enjoyed it, but we just walked around. I wished I would have planned something and actually gotten to experience Nassau a bit more.

Disembarkation

There are a lot of lines, a bit crowded, but goes fairly quickly and is very organized for how many people they are offloading.
