Review summary

We had a party of 5, so they set up our accounts ad 2 reservations, which caused us to not be able to use our account, make reservations or attend anything until it was fixed on day 3, however by then everything was already booked, so we were only able to reserve 1 show the ENTIRE week and 0 dinner reservations

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Overcrowded and disorganized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Staff work extremely hard to give everyone a great experience and dishes from all over the world.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Zero baby pools and a tiny splash play area for toddlers that only fit 5 kids because staff randomly limit the occupants, so not much for young children, especially if in a swin diaper because this us the ONLY water area they can be in.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Ricky the cruise director was amazing, but language barriers with other hosts made shows very difficult to partake in.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Very limited for young children and non existent for our teens.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was amazing and so was all the other staff we had contact with. They're worked extremely hard and treated terrible by guests.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Areas were constantly being cleaned, but design was poor. 1 TINY water area for toddlers in swim diapers and no pool areas for small children. If your goal is to get drunk and eat all week, then you probably won't mind the limited activities for families

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
We were told we had bunkbeds, yet it was a pull down bed that sits above the master bed, so you cant sit up or have any privacy if in use. The deck was dangerous for toddlers because the huge gap under the privacy walls allow toddlers to cross over to neighbors decks, which is terrifying for parents that would have to climb the balcony over the sea to retrieve their child. Deck 5 track also has several openings between all the bars that would allow small children to fall overboard

Ship tip

Reserve things quickly & call customer service ASAP if issues with your account setup, so you can actually enjoy the cruise and attend things.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

1 out of 5
They don't tell you that you share the island with several other cruises on your day, so extremely over crowded and delays.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Everything disorganized & 30+ minutes waiting to take the elevator to leave. (Baby's stroller and luggage or would have just walked the stairs)

Agree, you need an agent for this, the bookings needed to be linked, and if you have My Time dining they can’t link the bookings. I’m an agent

Thanks for sharing your cruise

If you had a competent travel agent, they would have linked your reservations at the time of booking and you would not have had any issues. Also, your TA would have described the room in detail so you would have avoided the confusion with your room. Royal has nothing to do with your primary complaints.
