Loved the ship and the cruise. Look forward to my next cruise on the class of ship.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Was on the ship within minutes of arriving at the pier. It seemed that we were guided into a separate embarkation area that allowed us to bypass the main line. Not sure if this was due to being a diamond plus cruiser or being in a JrSuite.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I had read prior reviews about the decreased quality of food on the RC ships but we went on the ship with an open mind, hoping that some reviewers were being overly critical. We ate in the main dining room, Windjammer, Central Park cafe and few other venues. We did not eat in any specialty restaurants. None of the food was above average. In fact I believe the MDR is much worse than on prior cruises.

We especially enjoyed the aqua theater. Comedians, and the schooner bar singer/ piano player.

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Absolutely love this class of ship. So much to do and see. Not surprisingly, there were not enough chairs at poolsides on sea days.
Cabin / Stateroom

This junior suite was spacious and clean. Sofa is showing wear and needs to be replaced. Very nice balcony.
Ship tip
Be cautious around the crowds Facebook posts from recent cruisers on Oasis reported lots of COVID cases after returning home.
Took the Mexican cooking and beach break. Beautiful beach, lots of chairs and umbrellas, unlimited food and drink. The cooking lesson was also fun and entertaining.
The new MDR menu removed some of our past favorites but more significantly was the quality of the foods. Meats were typically dry or gristly. Most entrees were served with mash potatoes and a green vegetable. Would have liked more variety in sides. The Caesar salad was watery. Crouton’s we’re soggy from the water. Although these may seem like trivial complaints, when they occur every night it shows a decline in the quality that I’ve come to expect in my 20+ cruises with RC. My favorite meal was the night that I skipped all the offered choices and paid the $20 extra for the Chops steak served in the MDR.
