Review summary

We were impressed with the great job Oasis did managing COVID concerns. These concerns were not a problem.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth, efficient, and well-organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was varied and well-prepared.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Everything was tip-top

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I saw the first production of CATS on Oasis back in 2015. This version was nothing compared to that one. We had trouble hearing the sung songs; both volume and singers' vocal abilities were a problem. The aquatic show was well staged. One has to like 80's music, though.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My traveling companion has celiac. We were concerned about 'gluten-free' food options. This was a non-event. The kitchen staff is quite capable and well-prepared to provide safe food options. We met with the Windjammer's Executive Chef; he took care of us every morning for breakfast.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship has been beautifully maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had everything we needed for a couple.

Ship tip

Schedule your onboard activities early using the app. If you're going up or down one deck, use the stairs.

Ports of call

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Enjoyed laying in the sun.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We got off the ship and walked the immediate area.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
The 'Fish Therapy' in the dockside market area was really neat. Try it. There's nothing to do in the port's immediate vicinity. You'll run the gauntlet trying to get through the gates and then, once outside, run a second gauntlet ("Hey, daddy! You want me to show you around? I take care of you, daddy.") just to find there's nothing to see or do. This is a port that requires an excursion. Either that, or stay on the ship.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We walked right through Customs.

Thanks for your review! Since my husband’s Celiac diagnosis we haven’t traveled due to major concern of cc. Besides the MDR & Windjammer, was there any other places on the ship that provided safe, non- cc dining that you experience? TIA
