Overall the cruise was nice! We had a nice room with balcony and an enjoyable vacation.
Embarkation

There was a 2 hour delay, which is fine, but it was confusing on when to actually arrive. The app had me schedule a time for a wellness screening and arrival time. But then it said to arrive 2 hours late. However, that would have been after the departure time (it was still departing at the original time, even with a 2 hour delay to board). I didn't want to risk anything, so got there around my original time. Everyone was waiting in line at the terminal for quite awhile. We waited about an hour.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining was great! The buffet was OK, it would have been better if it changed choices more frequently. We ate there at breakfast every morning and it got boring. It was also not very clear through the app which restaurants were included in the cruise and which cost extra money. I wish that had been more transparent. Also, the varied hours of open and close times of some of the restaurants/buffet took a little getting used to.

We loved the Aqua show, the magician/physical comedy performer, and Earl Turner. The 2 comedians were not great.

Ship tip
Be aware they charge an automatic gratuity to your account daily AND also leave envelopes at the end to tip your service people. I guess I thought that was what the automatic gratuity was going towards??
The Uchbenkah All Inclusive Bacalar Lagoon Beach was not really what I expected. The picture made it look like it had vast expanses of bright teal water. It was a small beach area on a regular water colored lagoon. It looked a lot like a small lake back home. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really what I felt was promoted through the Royal Caribbean app for excursions. It was also over an hour bus ride there and back, which would have been nice to know in advance.
Again, communication could have been clearer. They said we'd be given times and to look at the TV the morning of to know our disembarkation time. I think having an estimate the night before would be more ideal. They maybe could have communicated through the app?
