As long as you follow instructions and arrive at your assigned time, this was very easy and quick.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
If you’re gluten-free, Oasis has a lot of work to do. There were extremely few gluten-free food items and I suffered two cross-contamination episodes. My concerns were brought to staff in the main dining room and to RCCL directly. Please use caution and bring your emergency care medication.
The Windjammer is still a buffet but nit self-serve. The staff would serve as much as you could eat but it was served. You also have to swipe in and out with your pass card. There were plenty of tables available, maybe not up against the windows, but we did not have a problem finding a table.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
It appeared that most adults did not use the Solarium. There was ample seating. The staff was very attentive.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Aqua 80 and Frozen In Time were exceptional. I enjoyed Cats but it seemed slow compared to what I saw on Broadway many years ago.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff were outstanding!! Our room steward was so professional and personable. The dining room staff did try to handle my special food requirements. Everyone seemed to work together to give us a great cruise.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
While there were maintenance crews cleaning everywhere, they were not intrusive to what we were doing. In previous cruises, we’ve seen maintenance crews but there seemed to be many more on this cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our room seemed small but the balcony made up for it. The shower was a good size. Our room was clean and our steward very attentive.
Ship tip
Do not arrive early and try to board the ship and have your vaccination card/Covid testing paperwork easily available.
Thank you for sharing! We will be sailing 10/24 and concerned with your experience with Gluten Free food! I can’t handle any CC and they have always been great with making sure this doesn’t happen. Do you know what it was and where that CC you? I try to only eat in main dining room and preorder my meals the day before.
