Review summary

The weather was beautiful and the dinner cuisine was delectable. We had a relaxing, special time regardless of a virus outbreak and only visiting the first port. I appreciated being well informed regarding the situations with disembarking and the virus outbreak.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation while boarding was flawless. However, when leaving the ship, I waited in the self serve line for 2 hours with a significant injury. Once off the boat, customs was lovely.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I was not disappointed by any meals on the ship. In the main dining room, utilizing my time dining, Gerald and Komang provided stellar service. My husband and I ate at Chops Grille and feel that it was the best tasting meal we have ever had. Bar service, although pricey, was fantastic.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the sports court, movies at the Aqua Theater, and ice skating. We felt all were great experiences.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We went to the Aqua show, Come Fly with Me, and to see both comedians. The Aqua show was stellar and awing. We also were extremely pleased with Joe Yanetty. However, Come Fly with Me and Nora Lynch were disappointing. Both the productions lacked plot clarity.

Children's Programs

No children were with our party

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As aforementioned Gerald and Komang in the main dining room were stellar. Jocelyn, our room attendant, was attentive, kind, and anticipated our needs. We encountered no negative experiences with ship personnel and felt both the Captain and Royal Caribbean handled the norovirus outbreak with stellar professionalism and customer service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship put us both truly in awe.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
My husband is a large man and he did not feel the cabin was restrictive whatsoever. It was above our standards of cleanliness and provided exquisite comfort.

Ship tip

Participate in the ship activities and try all the foods.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
no excursions. provided for smooth access to the boat.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
As a regular visitor to rural Haiti, it was wonderful to see the beauty of the island in another way. Service was impeccable, Labadoozies are a treat, and there is ample space to find a relaxing spot.

Falmouth, Jamaica

1 out of 5
Although we did not disembark at this port, the appearance of the port was EXTREMELY disappointing. Every activity or destination required at least an hours drive time. I did not wish to shop on my relaxing honeymoon and I felt that was pushed too much by the cruise line.

Cozumel, Mexico Did not visit port

Norovirus outbreak

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Crowded, disorganized, hot, and hateful.
