Oasis of the Seas

7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Sail date: July 22, 2018

Ship: Oasis of the Seas

Cabin number: 8190

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Review summary

The ship is so big that you spend a lot of time walking from one end to the other. It is also not like you are really on a ship because you can't feel the ocean sway when you are in port or on the sea. It is more like a floating island. There were many entertainment snafus that caused cancellation of shows. Then it was hard to figure out what the replacement shows were going to be until much later. You had to be continuing re-planning entertainment activities. The Royal Carribean app was subpar and not updated with the latest information and did not support links to find where things were happening.

Our shows were also rescheduled quite often. Not a huge deal, but we also never knew when our rescheduled show was and had to go to guest services.

I sailed on oasis and had no problem. The only time I seen crowds was at he 70s (I guess it would be a sort of parade) and still didn’t feel crowded. And I watched all the shows. Nothing happened. So I feel for you. The shows were terrific

Things like that happen shows cancellation because of weather or equipment malfunctions it’s all in the safety of the crew and passengers on the oasis class ships there’s so much to do you can always find other things to replace canceled shows they canceled the aqua show on harmony of the seas this July because of weather just found something else to keep my time occupied enjoy your cruise I love to cruise
