Review summary

Loved the cruise. This was the first time food was disappointing but everything else was great.

Embarkation

The security check line was very long but kept moving at all times. With that many passengers it is to be expected.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room food was a disappointment. Send two of my meals back in exchange for something else. Cruised with Royal Caribbean several times and never had to do that. We went to the Windjammer twice and that was terrible too. Overcooked food, undercooked food. We never had such a bad food experiences before. Went to Solarium Bistro and that was good. The cafe in Central Park was good too.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dining room staff were excellent. Always brought us way too much food and had our drinks waiting for us when we arrived.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was laid out good so that we never really ran into any lines of people waiting for anything. Ship was very clean.

Ship tip

This is a large ship so make sure you check out where everything is before getting on board

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

We did not do an excursion. Found a couple of chairs and watched the zip liners go by. This is a great relaxing port. I would have given this port an excellent rating except the food they served at lunch was not that great.

Falmouth, Jamaica

We did not do an excursion. We just went shopping in the port area. We were a little nervous to do an excursion there.

Cozumel, Mexico

We did the All Terrain Buggy & Snorkel excursion. My husband loved it because we got filthy dirty splashing through the mud. The excursion seemed a little rushed. Snorkeling was ok. They did not provide any food on the excursion. 2 stops you could buy food. We already paid $90 with no food.
