Review summary

All in all, cruise was very nice - room was fantastic like before except for the water on the floor, staff seemed so different since the last two cruises on this ship.

It was a breeze and the staff on land were very nice and helpful. Love cruising from this port!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and Drink is always great on Royal Caribbean cruise lines.

Park Cafe

5 out of 5

Enjoyed eating here as much if not more than the Windjammer. Open air and Central Park all around is fantastic

Onboard Activities

Loved the solarium pool area. My husband did the zip line but said it was too short.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Finally went to an ice show which was fantastic, as well as the parade from DreamWorks. Music throughout ship was very enjoyable.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Was not as pleased as I was before on this ship. I sailed twice last year on Oasis and was so very pleased. The staff were so pleasant and seemed to enjoy their duties. I encountered several rude members this time - Several staff in "The Shop". They seemed to dismiss you without trying to be helpful and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well maintained, could use an update on wall paper in ladies rooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

Love this room!!!!!! Though when taking a shower - the floor was like a river, the shower door is off kilter so water just went out of the shower. The light above the table had a black ring around the bottom. Our room was kept very clean and have no complaints about that.

Ship tip

Enjoy yourself....relax and this is a real special ship. Bring your walking shoes and take your time to explore the wonders this ship has to offer.

first time there and was so nice to go to another island - beautiful architecture on the buildings, the port was nice and people so friendly. Sad to leave so early.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

OMG the best of the best.....the beaches on the right side of the island were fantastic...the music was fun and the shopping was not overwhelming. So relaxing !!!! RCCL has done so much since we first went to this island. All for the good.....

Disembarkation

They move you so fast which is great but I don't know who broke my handle off my suitcase and put it to the side next to a wall. Thank God I found it. This really upset me as well as the porter who moaned about his $20.00 tip so we had to give him more.....unbelievable....not a great way to end a vacation. Then the porter made us walk almost to the street so our ride could pick us up where he left us off. Very upset about that seeing we had my mother who is 98 yrs old and in a wheelchair, we also had carryon luggage which he made us carry.
