Tried once and crossed off my cruise list. RCI is not good as before.

Review summary

Dislike all the advanced eservations, else I get treated like 3rd class Citizen. Too many classes on the ship with privileges. Going back to Carnival from now on.

Onboard Activities

Food are almost the same thing everyday. The restaurant only open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Completely closed with no access during closed hours. Got boring after 2nd day. Sometimes I want to chilk inside the restaurant but there is an announcement constantly tell people to leave once finished. When certain item ran out, they don't restock.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
No steamroom or suana available. Must pay to use it.

I have cruise booked early September. When and where do I make show reservations. Only cruised carnival and never made show reservations.

When we went on Anthem last year we made as many reservations as possible. It helps with the planning. I do like some structure. Can someone fill me in about the steam rooms?

I’m excited to sail on Oasis, but this review may cause me to second guess this!! I can’t imagine running out of activities to do on an Oasis class ship. I understand having to book shows due to the population of passengers on ship, which I’m a planner so i will book my shows a few weeks before we sail!

Just made our reservations! Very cool! I just didn’t know because on Disney and on FOS, you just go to the show after dinner except for the ice show! 59 days!!!

You are welcome - you should be able to make all reservations now via the online cruise planner app. We are going on Anthem in March and have already booked dining and show times. have a great cruise !

Thanks Drjsn- Will do:)

We were on Oasis in October and loved it. You should make reservations for all evening entertainment/shows. We did my Time dining and reserved different times based on the show reservation start time.

So we are leaving on the oasis in Feb. This is the second person I have seen post about having to reservations on everything. Curious what things you had to reserve ? Like I know on FOS we “booked” tickets for the ice show. Is that what they are talking about? We have loved all our RCCL cruises so not worried but curious:)

This person was obviously on a different ship from Oasis class 🙄

Did you only eat at the buffet? What about Park Cafe, Cafe Promenade, Dog House, and other included locations?

Also, the relaxation room and saunas are free on all Royal Caribbean ships so I can't understand where you get the "I have to pay extra for it" remark.

Are you sure you were on Oasis? There is constant entertainment, unlimited variety of food and more pools and hot tubs than most cruise ships.
