While this cruise ship is amazingly beautiful, we would have liked to have had access to a coffee house on the upper decks (one has to go to deck 5), water slides would be enjoyable, and less glass on the front of the ship for those of us who enjoy an unobstructed view of the ocean.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The embarkation process was smooth and fast.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The menu in the main dining room (Silk) was really good . The Windjammer buffet was similar to Disney Cruise Lines "Cabanas" - neither one really better than the other.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pools are available, but there are no water slides (even as older adults, we still like water slides) :)
The walking track is nice (comparable to other ships)
The ice skating rink was a nice attraction, but very crowded (up to 50 people on a small rink) and they don't smooth out the grooves from previous sessions - causing the skates to catch and resulting in falls
The activities / attractions are "implied" as being readily available; however, one must secure tickets well in advance to participate - whether it is for shows, rock climbing, skating, etc.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service and staff were exemplary. Ship was very clean and they provided prompt service.
