Review summary

From the time we got onboard til we departed, this was a great cruise. Can not say enough about how happy we are that we were there. The shopping on board was great. We loved the pizza and had coffee and tea at the cafe on Deck 5 many times. Central Park was our go to place to grab a quick bite or drink and enjoyed sitting in this outside atmosphere. Absolutely a fabulous deck to just sit and enjoy. Loved dining at the many spots and restaurants.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and service was as always top of the line! We did have My Time Dining and was surprised how many people made reservations and were seated before the people in the line without reservations. We got there before 5:45 every night and were waiting longer then expected. I’m not sure I’ll do that again. I will make reservations for our February 4 cruise ahead of time.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We attended every show except the comedy club. We had reservations but didn’t make it there in time and the doors were closed. It was the same night as the Halloween Parade and even though we planned on doing both, we weren’t able to get through the crowded deck 5 and missed comedy club. Every show was over the top. So much better then any other shipline we have been on.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the service people we came in contact with were awesome.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Fabulous, clean, well designed and decorated.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our room was good. The only complaint is the bathroom sink is not a good design. We has a Central Park balcony, I much prefer ocean. Sadly our next cruise is also Central Park. Lesson learned.

Ship tip

So much to do and many activities overlap. Plan your days out and make reservations before you board for your shows or you will be left out.

Disembarkation

Very easy. We got someone to take our luggage and went thru fast. Tipping is optional, but please tip them good as they earn it!

Awesome... We really enjoy the Carnival Dive-In theater by the pool at night.

@martinmanorsurplus Yes, the Oasis of the Seas shows movies. I plan to watch Wonder Woman next week!

Does the Oasis class ships have Out door movies at night?

Wow... Ok thanks

Shakey, you don’t have to have reservations for the MDR but it does help. On Allure, we did My Time Dining but still made reservations. We only had to wait because we had a party of 10, but we never waited longer than 10-15 minutes, even a couple nights when some of us showed up late. People without reservations on Oasis Class ships usually end up waiting a little while before being seating, that goes for dinner as well as the shows.

Great review, and adds to my excitement as we will be on Oasis in 25 days!!

What do you mean you had to have reservations for dinner in the main dining room?

Glad your cruise was great... looking forward to the Allure. We're the eating places in central park free or is there a cost to eat at those places?
