Review summary

The Oasis is a beautiful ship and excellent for retirees etc. We were not overly impressed with the available entertainment or activities for our age group. You should also advertise weight limits and necessary attire for on board activities ON YOUR WEBSITE so that we don't find out AFTER we spend all of the money and get on the ship, only to realize we can't use half of the things you offer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was not impressive compared to other cruise lines. All of the specialty restaurants were significantly more money, and after paying as much as we did to stay in a balcony room for a week, I wasn't spending more money to eat something other than what was offered.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There aren't as many things for 30-something age group. Yes, there were many different amenities available, but for us, there weren't many things to do. (My husband is 6'6" and 280#. That limits us A LOT)

Ship tip

When someone books a cruise and it's designated on the RC website that it is a honeymoon, take a tip from Carnival and address it. Carnival provided a decorative desert and a $50 spa gift card for another couple. Royal Caribbean completely ignored the fact that it was our honeymoon.

Yes redmonang, but you are a grown-up 30 something, & NOT a 30 something, going on 17 like a lot of millenials. I sure wish they'd grow-up!

I'm in my 30's and I prefer royal over carnival. Better food, entertainment, & shows

I did those things on the Harmony, but the Oasis offers the same or very similar.

I'm 30-something and I went to the battle of the sexes, quest, red party, silent party, comedy club and attended 2 shows. I think there is something for everyone. Too bad you were disappointed.

Thanks for the review. Sorry to read about the weight limit problem but if you would’ve done an little bit of research prior to your cruise, you would’ve known. The information is easy to find. Same thing for the specialty restaurants. Research prior to your cruise would’ve avoided a lot of disappointment.
