Review summary

We have done over 75 cruises on 12 different cruise lines. We are diamond level with Royal. We will NOT cruise on this ship again. WAY too many people. Regardless of what they say, they cannot handle this many people in a comfortable manner. If you enjoy standing in line, this is the ship for you.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was awesome. Some of the best MDR food we have had on any cruise..

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Huge crowds on the ship made everything difficult to enjoy

Entertainment

3 out of 5
What we saw was pretty good, however, this ship schedules the shows at different times due to limited space of the venues. You get to see a show everyday as on other ships. We had 3 nights with nothing to do if we didn’t want to sit in a bar and drink. The only cruise I have ever taken where I was bored.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My 8 year old grandson was with us. He had a blast. Well organized program.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service was excellent overall but wait staff was a little slow due to the large number of tables they had to cover.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was in great shape but ALL the venues were too small to handle the large number of people on board

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It seemed small for a balcony cabin. Limited closet and storage space.

Ship tip

The internet service was a little pricey but the fastest I have EVER seen on a cruise ship. We were able to communicate by text with family in another cabin. This worked very well.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Mass confusion due to the large crowds but they did the best they could

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
One of my favorite ports. Great beaches. The on shore lunch was not that good and we stood in line for 40 minuets. Best to go back to the ship for lunch.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Loved this port. Did the river tubing. It was great.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Lots to do here. Great place to snorkel

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Mass confusion due to the large crowds. 6000+ people getting off and on at the same time. An unpleasant experience.

I guess that is one of the reasons they have different size ships aside from the obvious money thing I for one will stay away from the mega ships and stick with the freedom class and smaller different strokes for different folks (sorry for corny saying)

If your diamond why didn't you eat in coastal kitchen? Or did u not have that option. First time on this ship after royal suggested it after a bad trip on the navigator last year. Crowds are nothing on cruises if you've EVER been to disney! Worse place In the world lol!

We love the big ships. Lots to do and we love meeting people

I am booked on Oasis in the Spring for nephew's graduation cruise, otherwise we would never have chosen such a huge ship. Any suggestions to beat the crowds?

It must not have been that bad because you still gave it 4 stars. Big ships are not for everyone. At least you tried it once.

Well Matthew I must admit you are so right Disney crowds and extremely hi cost is what got my family into cruising and we have never looked back

Love this ship!!!! We cruise Memorial Day week every year!!! Been on Oasis twice and cruising on Allure for 2nd time in May. Only time it feels crowded to us is during the parades. Walt Disney World is much worse. 🤘🏻

This review reminds me of an old Yogi Berra quote: Nobody goes there anymore, because it's too crowded!

I so agree I will stick with freedom class might help if they had a better crew to guest ratio
