This was our first Cruise, it was a little dramatic as we missed our first port of call Labadee due to a passenger falling I'll, we changed course to the Bahamas to meet Oasis sister Ship the Allure so the passenger could be transferred and brought back to port Canaveral. With Hurricane Nate cancelling Cozumel the Captain decided to change our return course and headed for Labadee, so it was not a total disaster port wise.Over all a fantastic experience, will definitely go again.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
JB our room attend was very professional and friendly, he even insisted that he folds up and later prepares my son's pull out bed for him, Noelle the barman at sabors was always singing and dancing as he served us our drinks, it's the little things that you remember and bring home with you. Credit to each and every member of Oasis of the seas.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
For a Ship that accommodates 6000 passengers we never felt it was crowded, with all the choices of where to spend your day, either inside or out nowhere seemed uncomfortable, very clean and always noticeably somebody on hand to clean up the odd cocktail spill here and there.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed very comfortable, room size with our 15 yrs old son was a little cramped but manageable, cleanliness five stars every time, well done JB.
Ship tip
Be prepared to be impressed with the sheer size of this Ship, how quickly it becomes your home for the week, how quickly you are greeted and made to feel welcome, and I believe the most important point of all, from the Captain to your barman, your waiter to your room attendant, the friendlyness is fantastic.
Labadee was a wonderful experience, weather was beautiful, beach and water amazing, I did not give Labadee five stars as my only negative point was the very aggressive selling on the way to the beach, it would be helpful to maybe advise people about this. This was as you where nearing the Aqua park. No excursions just sun sea food and cocktails.
Hurricane Nate caused the closure of this port, really disappointed but as the Captain explained our safety is always first and foremost. Maybe next time.
Who's being nasty? I'm simply pointing out you can control the odds of getting sick. I've never heard of a ship that returned to port due to norovirus.
People have to remember:
The ships medical bay can handle most emergencies, but they are not a hospital, so when it comes to SERIOUS or extended health emergencies they prefer to get the patient to shore with full hospital facilities.
There's no 1 ship that keeps getting it. Wash your hands and be mindful of germs, it's the only way to avoid them. If someone is being sent back they are seriously ill, not just a stomach bug.
This is like the 4 th Post that I have read about someone getting ill and ship having to meet an ambulance boat or having to turn around to take person back to port. To Hospital. What is up. Is it someone getting sick sick or something more serious I hate being sick and that is my worst fear on the ship is getting the stomach bug I forgot what ship it was that keeps getting the big and has to cut Cruise short. Due to everyone gets it it goes like wildfire through the ship
