Review summary

This is my sixth overall, first with Royal Caribbean and it won't be my last with them. This is the best one I've been on, and they were outstanding.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
They have this down better than any other cruise line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were the deal, especially Chops and Giovanni's, Drink Plan was the way to go. Got my money's worth and it was super easy!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Jogging Track is the best I've seen, as it's the ONLY THING on that level. Other ships should take notice of this. Trivia games were fun, and I watched a lot of football games, so it helps that TV's are everywhere. Casino goers, take note. There is smoking throughout the whole Casino. So we went, we just didn't stay long! Since you can smoke, people go there just to do that. So it makes the area more crowded than it needs to be.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All shows were good, but the diving show was the best of them!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room Steward was outstanding, everyone on the ship nice and professional. Captain gave daily updates, and I saw him just randomly on the ship three times, which was also a first for me.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Best ship I've ever been on. The Promenade and Central Park are amazing!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Best shower I've ever had on a cruise, hot water instantly and great pressure!

Ship tip

Get the drink package, and deals are waiting for you, just check with someone on the Promenade Level after you board.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
We were there for the Georgia Tech game, which unfortunately got cancelled, but we made a day of it and went to Sea World instead, which was tremendous!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
Went out to Royal Caribbean's beach, nice area with drinks and food aplenty, just too hot with not enough shade.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Tremendous excursion, did Dunns River Falls with Bamboo Beach Club. Had a great time climbing the Falls. They'd never let you do that in the states!! Club was great, had your own private area to swim and be on the beach.

Cozumel, Mexico Did not visit port

Did not visit due to State Department Warnings.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again, just as smooth and easy as getting onboard.

Nice to go onto a ship that exceeds all past cruise experiences. I wish that could be true for all of us, each time we cruise. Reality check - not probable.
