We are experienced cruisers and have been to most of the Caribbean Islands multiple times. These days we cruise based on particular lines and specific ships. With this in mind I would say we enjoyed our voyage on this beautiful ship. My wife lives by the pool and I find a comfortable quiet place to read and watch videos. This ship made us both happy. The fact that were "stuck" at sea f04 3 extra days because of the hurricane made it a unique experience. It was amazing to watch the crew handle this difficult situation and make us comfortable and entertained.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
There was a good selection of food at the main dining room. Some of the choices however were delightful to look at but had little flavor. The escargot were terrible: no dipping bread and the sauce was bland and lacking in flavor. The fish and meat dishes were consistently overcooked and the sides tended to common and cold. The Caesar salad was wilted and soggy ... no anchovies. In general everything was seasoned to be neutral and therefore bland. We ate at Park150: a big disappointment. Small selection of unrecognizable dishes, very small portions. Unexciting and no better than the main dining room. Giovanni's was superb. Terrific selection, very tasty dishes. The Chops grill was a duplicate of Morton's or Ruth's Chris. However, the meat was not up to their quality. The meat dishes were delivered to the table hot, but not sizzling as at most high end steakhouses. The buffets were common cruise ship quality. Good selection, noting outstanding. Breakfast was better than lunch. The biggest disappointment was the hamburgers and hot dogs. When you can't find anything attractive there's always the good old hamburger!. NOT. They were more filler than meat and always dried out. The hot dogs were tasty, but all the rolls were right out of the grocery stores factory made. Desserts were good at all venues.

Didn't use any of them.
Entertainment

We did all of the main featured shows: Ice show, water show, Showcase etc. There was no way to get into the Comedy Shows. We tried to make reservations 2 months in advance but could not do so. Also, on the ship. The venue was too small. On the last night they moved the to the comedy show to the Opal theater. Only problem the comedians weren't funny.

Everybody was friendly and anxious to please.
Ship Quality

Ship beautiful, well laid out well maintained. Biggest problem is that virually all seating and tables were too low to the ground. Also dining areas were carpeted and the chairs had the wrong type of feet. Very difficult to get in and out of the seats.
Cabin / Stateroom

Only complaint is the towels were old and rough.
Ship tip
Bring your walking shoes. It seems that you have to walk a long distance to each activity. Difficult for those of us who have some difficulty walking long distances.
I agree with GIL re: the stress on everyone. many of the crewmembers are from the Caribbean, so not only did they have to care of their ship duties, they had to do so while fretting over their families and homelands.
You Floridians go and have a wonderful trip - you certainly deserve it!
Glad you have the experience to notice the extra effort by the crew. I can only imagine how stressful the hurricanes were on so many different people's- on land, and on sea. Thanks for sharing your insight.
