not my class of ship due to being to big and the simple things not included in price that i am use to getting on the Freedom class. this is filler to meet the minimum charactres

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I have said this before about Royal Caribbean and this being our 9th cruise it is still the same. But the food is not all that great due to what seems to be an intention to put out "FuFu" type food rather the just good seasoned great tasting food. What i mean by that is every thing in the windjammer has this fancy name that absolutely means nothing to me. Why can there be "Make your own taco night" or spagetti and meatballs or fresh homemade bread with high quality Deli cut meats and cheese. I dont mean all the time but instead of having all the fancy named food that totally sucks and is dry and no seasoning what so ever. Why cant one or two meals during the week be something every day and simple but with high quality fresh items? Going to lunch or dinner in the windjammer for lunch or dinner and being served the same exact thing only with some different name is not my idea of GREAT FOOD. Not sure if this is read by other Cruisers or by the company but it really would be nice to get some results from these post cruise surveys rather then just providing future cruisers with a feel for what to expect on there cruise.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
i only give a 1 star in this area because i was very dissapointed in Royal Carribean aboard the Oasis of the seas that for me to use the SAUNA and STEAM room it cost me 99 dollars for the week. WHAT??? why aboard the Freedom of the seas was this a common space and included in the weeks Cruise price? This is something that will cause me NOT to cruise on this Class ship ever again due to this being one of the reasons i go on a cruise is to detox and site in the "HOT BOX" and release stress for a week each morning.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Other then the CATS production the entertainment was decent but was very dissapointed in the whole production and personally dont understand how this nationally known production is still inexistance because it totally sucked and the fact that it is over 2 hours and included an intermission was crazy. very very bad waste of time and alot of people were walking out even before the intermission.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5

Ship Quality
5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
very clean and comfortable to get a good nights sleep
Ship tip
very huge ship and even though there are over 6000 people not to mention the over 2000 crew .... it never seemed crowded.
nothing really different after doing western carribean cruise multiple time but enjoy just all the inclusive all in one package type of vacation despite the same ports of call.
this port is getting better as time passes in that the blue tarp city type venders that seem shady and make you feel like you might be mugged if you follow them to there tent are going away slowly and being replaced by more modern building and reputable vendor type atmosphere
