Review summary

This was the total eclipse of the sun cruise. RCL dd it right!!!! We had no problems on the cruise. The food and the entertainment were excellent. We love Central Park and Boardwalk. The Aqua show was about the best we have seen onboard Oasis class ships.

WE have visited this port many times. We did a culinary excursion this time. We loved it. We like the French side of the island.

Not much to do. Our least favorite Caribbean port.

Disembarkation

From leaving the port and getting through customs as above 20 minutes. Finding luggage was a snap. A far better experience than other ports we have been to.

@ jlbrown, I didn't mean any disrespect and of course it happened. I just meant the ship was not in the path of totality. I flew home to Wyoming so I could see the Total Eclipse because here in Florida you only got 81 percent. I'm posting a picture in my profile if anyone wants to see it.

Nice you were able to partake in this special cruise. And even without an eclipse, you found a fascinating ship to enjoy (Sun, no sun, or a sliver of sun).

It was a total eclipse. Just because you weren't in the right place to see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

yes love to see photos of the Eclipse

Except it wasn't a total, I believe you got a partial eclipse! Either way I bet it was fantastic. Do you have any photo's??
