Review summary

Oasis is a huge, beautiful ship with plenty to do. Never really felt too crowded, considering how many were on board. Food was very disappointing. Have to go to the specialty restaurants to get good food, but after paying the cruise fare, I expect descent food.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth embarkation. Waited under 30 minutes from walk in to on board!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall, a beautiful ship. Large, but never felt too crowded. Food in the MDR was pretty bad. I've had better in a diner. Service was 100% all around the ship. Friendly staff. Windjammer buffet was "eh"

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Something for everyone! Not enough time to get it all in, but was never bored!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Didnt go to see Cats, but the other shows were entertaining.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Didnt see my 12 year old all week! :)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service and staff were wonderful. Always cheerful and kind.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship itself looked clean and well laid out. Took a star off because 1/2 of the hand sanitizers were either empty or not working, and not enough of them. Hand washing is so important traveling with 5000+ passengers

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very happy with cabin. Comfortable size for the 2 of us. Bed was very comfortable, which I was concerned about, since the last Royal ship I was on, the bed was horrible. Love the balcony!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
After cruise we went to Cape Canaveral. It was a day before a rocket launch, so we got to see the rocket (horizontal) at the launch pad. Really cool place to visit, and they take you to the airport afterwards. Very convenient.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Zip line--you must!

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Went to the Blue Hole in Ochos Rios. Far, but a nice excursion

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
a lot to do there.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Just as smooth as embarking.

We were on in March and thought the free food was pretty good. I never was hungry.

I was on Oasis in June and the food was great !

we sailed first of May and I thought oasis food was better than the last couple of RC cruises we've taken on a smaller ship.

Lottie, sadly it was disappointing. Consistently disappointing. Not just one or 2 meals. Lobster tails only 1 day, On the Anthem, we had them every night
