Review summary

The port is really nice. Easy in/Easy out. The ship is beautifully maintained. Very big. Too much to do and too many things that cost extra even with the drink package (coconut/pineapple drinks), etc. Too many restaurants for a 7 day cruise. Expensive, when the main dining room is just fine. Service was great. Labbadee is very over priced. Dunns River Falls - amazing - but crowded Cozumel - Playa Mia - our favorite!

Ship tip

it's too big! too much to do and not enough time on 7 days

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
it's too "fake" Haiti - very expensive - parasailing was $95 compared to $75/$65 in other ports - confusing when you first get there - too short time period for the $$ in the water park - did Cozumel's playa mia - not restricted for time

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
yes, Dunn's River Falls - amazing - very crowded though - they said 7 ships in port that day - too many, should work around other schedules to be sure it's not too crowded

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
playa mia - beautiful as always

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
easy and quick - breakfast available and still good even though it was the last day

I've cruised all the lines & come to love RC the best. Oasis was wonderful & we are going on our 3rd trip with Oasis leaving Sunday. Although a lot of people, planning ahead is suggested. No need to go to restaurants for us, the dining room & buffets were great.

I will not step foot on the oasis until June 2018, but if the extra charges are a issue sail with disney. it will be a wonderful experience and I would love to sail disney every time. but sail once and compare the two price wise at the end. like I said in the beginning I have not sailed oasis yet, but I have a feeling the price will not add up. Also book another cruise!!!

@Zappafan. For that one you're right. 5$. It's almost nothing. But still more money coming out of our pockets. I'm pretty sure they would make money even without charging us that cover price.

Zappafan    7 years ago

You pay a cover, they tell you ok everything on the menu is included, oh , unless you want a shake, that's another $5!

Paying for Jonny Rockets is a joke too!!

On every cruise ship, there's a lot of things that costs extra. It's up to you, and your wallet, if you wanna indulge in those. But for someone who's been on that ship, I know there's plenty of good food and free activity to do without paying extra. And if you didn't have time to everything? That's a good problem. Better that then the other way. One thing left, book another cruise n that ship. 😉

Too much to do? That's when you book another cruise! lol
