Review summary

I would definitely recommend this cruise for families with kids of all ages and for those without kids.   The ship has a lot of people of on it but you really won't notice except for a couple of occasions  1) lots of people in the Promenade for 70's night) 2) waiting on the surfing simulator and 3) breakfast at WIndjammer the first morning.

The ship is very well laid out with lots of activities and a very friendly crew.   The internet is pretty fast and we used it primarily to communicate and the kids for surfing on their devices (by us and out in the sun).  The food is pretty good, at least as good as you are going to get when cooking for that many people, and we heard someone talking about the Specialty dining but that was not for us.  Expect at least 1.5 hours for dinner in the main dining areas but we found out we could get food pretty fast if we were late for a show.

The back of the boat on the 5th floor is very relaxing as well as the Solarium (much hotter).

The cabin was very clean. We did not use the ocean balcony as much as I had planned but it was worth the money. We had a second room with a balcony overlooking the Boardwalk and actually used it a lot more. If you get one toward the back then you can see the outdoor movie as well as the Aqua Show.

Ship tip

Book shows and excursions online early along with the waivers if you are going to be active.  Embark either as early as possible or as late as possible.  We got there around 2 PM and were at the back of a very long line but if we had gotten there closer to 3 there was no line.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

If you are not comfortable with people REALLY wanting to sell you something then make sure you take the Tram towards the back of the island. The Zip Line was fantastic, book early.

Falmouth, Jamaica

Excursions seem to be on boat time despite the time zone difference. Dunn's River Falls was fantastic but get there early.

Cozumel, Mexico

This is the second time to Cozumel. I would rate snorkeling #1 and then our ATV with Wild Tours was a close #2. Excursions here seem to be on local time so we showed up really early. Get one early and shop late in the afternoon.

How much does it cost to use the wifi?

We are talking about the rear of the ship and deck five. This is a ship and not a boat and there are no floors just decks

Sounds like you found a good area to escape the crowds. Love the aft end of the ship.
