Review summary

First time on one of the larger ships and not sure we liked it as well as the middle size. The service was generally slower, the bars were always full, specialty restaurants were very busy, more movement than we have experienced on previous cruise and it just wasn't as friendly as previous cruises. One thing we didn't care for was mixed drinks were really different from bartender to bartender.. Costal kitchen great idea but very slow service.

It was a little noisy but we had a great deal of wind most of the cruise. Otherwise no issues at all.

Ship tip

be ready to do a great deal of walking...

I want the week after Thanksgiving and I didn't find anything that incredibly crowded but then I have not been on the smaller Royal ships that happens in November. And since you're going to Coastal Kitchen, the amenities that come with the concierge are fantastic, as are the Concierge themselves. Our personal experience at Chops was excellent service and not slow at all.

I thought the Coastal Kitchen was amazing, but they are right the service is a little slower it's more of a fine-dining hang out and eat for 2 hours experience. the breakfast was awesome still a little slow but the best eggs benedict I've ever had
