very rude staff all thruo out the ship and also the have curfew on the teen under 18 they have to be in there room at midnight and not allowed to be anywhere on the ship pass midnight

This just came up on the feed, and it perked my interest because I'm cruising on the oasis in September. To each their own, but I'll wait for my experience. Sorry you feel you did not have a good time.

You're just mad that we are beating you in your own argument so you're calling all of us Royal Caribbean marketers. I'm 13 and you know what's different between you and me.... If you are, who you say you are, you being a father of a teenage girl. Why in the he....ll would you want them out late, unsupervised? What happens when they run into the wrong person, she's touched wrong or heaven forbids she is raped. Then who do you blame, the young teenage guy, the drunk who had one two many........or maybe the cruise line. Better look in the mirror first and blame

Ok "father of a teenager" you go have fun on Carnival and be a baby about everything, while everybody else has fun on Royal Caribbean! I'm 13 and I could write English better than you in 1st grade. I'm fine with the curfew, you said that teenagers need to enjoy themselves well tell them to enjoy themselves during the day, it has nothing to do with how much staff there is. Grow up already!

Ok king90266 but cruises are for all to enjoy. I think having a curfew for the teens is the best way to go so all can have a good time. RC is not a baby sitter and should not be responsible for your children. People under 18 have no reason to be out after midnight. I think if you want a baby sitter keep them home.

#1 - Insulting the OP, who is obviously not an english speaker as a primary language, is immature and rude, as are so many of the follow-up comments.

#2 - Usually minors can be out and about after curfew time when accompanied by an adult parent/guardian. It is not appropriate for minors to be roaming the halls of a cruise ship... actually, it is downright dangerous for them. Not everyone on a ship has good intent, especially after having a few drinks. As a parent, you might stop to consider that the policy is in place for their protection as much as it is for the enjoyment of fellow cruisers. Cruising does not equate to absentee parenting. If you permit your children to be out and about after curfew, you have to be responsible and accompany them. End of controversy.

I suggest if you cruise again you should find out what the rules are on a curfew for children under 18. Call or ask your TA to find out from the cruise line, or the information may be on the Website. Then you will not be unhappy.

I am sure that something on this ship met with your approval. If so please share. The review was very one-sided left as it is.

Royal Caribbean had the worst customers service and food of any line I've been on. We went for 15 days in Alaska and will never use them again and haven't. Carnival the people working and vacationing are both incredible and down to earth. You can upgrade yourself basically to the point of anywhere you want to be, the food is amazing, everything I've found is above and beyond.

All I can say is to each his own. And in my humble opinion coming from someone whose sailed on numerous different lines, but prefer Royal and Princess. Because with Carnival you get what you paid for. This is like comparing coach to first class or preferring Spirit Airlines that is low budget and Junk airlines to the other airlines. So for me I choose to stay with the upper crust lines like Royal Caribbean, Princess to name just a few. But won't ever waste my money sailing on Carnival again. It's obvious this person likes the other line because it attacks the college type party until your sick crowd. I prefer to vacation with a more upper class type of folks that these lines seems to attract.

I went on the carnival cruise the fallowing week

the ship is great

the staff very friendly

the food was great

and I paid 1/2 of the price of the royal Caribbean

carnival cruise rocks

the only way to cruise from now on

The teen need to enjoy them self also

not to be locked in room all night

you have the activities on land all day and dinner after and then the show to go with there family

and after that they can go meet with there friends

so that will be later in the night

and just because royal Caribbean don't have enough staff and unable to keep everyone safe on there ship they sand all the kids to the room

I know on my last cruise I saw kids out late & I can tell you this , if my kids I would have smack the p... out of them. I wanted to say something but not my place . Then again I wouldn't let my child run wild nor hang with some of them kids certainly at those late hrs. By doing that you that you risk blowing your whole trip. BIG ships people anything can happen .

I don't think you need to cruise anymore on any line; at least not until you can pass 6th grade English. The curfew is to protect the paying adults from youngsters like you.

This review was OBVIOUSLY written by one of the under 18's that was forced to abide by the rules regarding the curfew!! Too bad! When you get older, you can do as you like. For now, follow the rules.
