Review summary

After many different cruises on many different cruise lines, our cruise on the Oasis was one of the best, if not the best. We had high expectations based on the reviews of others, but you literally need to see it to believe it. The on board activities catered to all age groups and interests. The selection of dining options was varied and delicious. The crew was delightful and efficient. Seeing the Pixar characters on board makes anyone feel like a kid again. The shows were top rate, especially Hairspray. We made dining and show reservations prior to the cruise so we never had a problem seeing the shows we wanted or eating at the time we wanted. Overall, experiencing the Oasis was a positive one and worth repeating.

Our cabin attendant, Clover from Jamaica, was friendly and always with a positive attitude.

Ship tip

Have a morning cup of coffee at the Park Cafe. Antonio will take very good care of you. Make sure you make reservations long before you board, for your dining and show preferences. You never need to eat at the same place twice, that's how many dining options are available.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

The boarding process when without a hitch, get there early, we were there by 12 noon.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

This is one of our favorite beaches, & we love the beach coves. The BBQ lunch is complementary and delicious.

Fabulous port, it's a short taxi ride into town. The R.C. Terminal is huge and has lots of stores.
