Review summary

There is no way to explain this ship other than just to book it and see for yourself. It is a city at sea with a crew as eager to please as the ship itself. The rooms were very roomy and clean, the service was the best I have ever experience on ANY line, and the food was sooooo good, we canceled one of our specialty restaurants to eat in the Opus Dining Room. There was live music everywhere and they didn't skimp on drinks, food, or smiles. Remember, if you are good to the crew....they will be very good to you.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I can't say enough about the dining options. The main dining was great, as was the service. The waiters are tremendous on personality and answer your every wish. We did the My Time dining by paying our tips upfront and it was very convenient and most nights...no wait at all. Even if you do wait, we are talkin' about 5 minutes at the most. You can request a certain waiter's section and they accommodated very well. The food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows offered are beyond Vegas quality....they are clearly the best you will see on any line. The AquaTheater wasn't working when we were on board so RC flew ABBACADABRA to Cozumel to entertain us on the last night of the ship and they emobodied ABBA...it was great. Fly with me was amazing as were the comedians. There were parades and even a Promanade Disco Party. Richard, the cruise director was so wonderful...he danced, sang and was hysterical. We felt valued on this cruise....like Royalty.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The best you will ever have at sea....ever!!!! They are always there when you need them and smiling back at you. Our room steward, Rash, was always asking us what we needed and went out of his way to make us very happy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We thought it would be difficult to figure such a large ship out, but within a day, we knew our way around. There were fun surprises around every corner and for a boat of over 6000 persons, the public restrooms were imaculate as well.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The bed rises high enough to store all of your bags, the bed was converted to a King Size and we still had plenty of room. The TV was big and we could access all of the goings on around the ship through the TV as well as review our bill. The room has individual temp controls so that was great after a hot day.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
It was clear that this site was built only for the Cruise Ship since there is nothing else for several miles around. We did some shopping and took some fun pics, but didn't hang out too long.
Don't Miss: The huge pool in the middle of the plaza and you can swim up to the bar!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Labadee was soooo much better than last time we went. They had a big Zip Line, great beaches, fun and good food, and even a self propelled Roller Coaster! We really enjoyed that and the local art.
Don't Miss: Check out the indoor art market...very unique items. The bottles with sequens were amazing!

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel was a lot of fun. There are a myriad of pushy salespeople, but if you can get past that the shopping was fun. We didn't do the beach this time since it was over 100 degrees outside. We visited some great restaurant off of the main drag that saved us money and was the best Mexican food we have had.
Don't Miss: Bargaining with the Mexicans....good fun if you are persuasive. Oh, and $1.00 beer everywhere.

Pros: Variety of venues on and around the ship

Cons: We didn't get our free collectable soda cup when we bought the soda package
