Review summary

It was a nice cruise for a getaway and NYE celebration, but I doubt I would ever consider this ship again. I base that on the lackluster performance of the staff more so than the ship. The ship is small, but very well kept.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We paid for the priority access, so it was a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The dining rooms were great, but the buffets and late night options close entirely too early. Pizza options were done at 9:30 pm.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We struggled to find things to do... and this was a NYE cruise

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The musicians were excellent. We only had limited exposure to the DJs, and they were average.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Did not even meet our room steward until the last night on the ship, and we rarely saw anyone to get drinks for us while around the pool. On Great Stirrup Cay, the bar options we so limited, and we had to wait in line constantly. There was an average of 15 people standing in line at anytime, and there were zero staff taking drink orders - so you were limited to standing in line.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Comfort and size was excellent, but our room steward was nowhere to be found. We only met him on the last night of the cruise, and our room was never truly cleaned while we were there - fortunately, this was only a short cruise.

Ship tip

It's a small ship, and the common areas are kept very clean, but some of the staff appear to be in early stages of training...

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

I give it 3 stars, because the island is beautiful; however, the lack of bar options and having to stand in line constantly made the experience less than perfect.

Did they have a white night or glow night as some people call it?
