Review summary
This is an older but remodeled ship. For the most part, it was an excellent cruise with great food variety and not as crowded as some ships I have been on in the past. My biggest complaint was inconsistent service, not just in food staff but the staff in general. Sometimes it was completely hit or miss. The musicians and bands were very good. There wasn't as many activities on board as I expected. The NCL private island Great Stirrup Cay was absolutely wonderful and if you have a cruise stop that includes it, you must get off for at least a few hours. Overall, considering this is not one of the giant mega-ships out there, I feel this was an excellent cruise for the price paid and I really enjoyed myself. I would travel NCL again without hesitation.Embarkation

Ship tip
Best advice: for breakfast, avoid the mass crowds at the buffet on deck 11 and head next door to Moderno for breakfast. Small but adequate setup there with virtually no crowds. Made to order waffles and omelettes!
