This was a girls' getaway and offered convenient dates at a very reasonable price.
For a smaller ship, it took care of our needs which were sun/sand/relaxation. Wish the food and main evening entertainment were better.

The food was good, but not great. Disappointed in the chilled fruit soup-my favorite item on a cruise menu. The ribs on the lunch buffet at GSC were excellent.

There were plenty of scheduled daytime activities and evening game shows. My rating is a 4 due to Bingo. The daily schedule clearly stated that you could play for as little as $20.00. Was told by the entertainment staff that if you were chosen as Bingo King/Queen, then you would get a $20.00 discount. This was very misleading and falsely advertised.

We enjoyed watching Jason, the guitarist, several nights in the Windjammer Lounge; he was very good and entertaining. The main shows consisted of the first evening's entertainment sampler, a comedian on two evenings, and a stage show. We were disappointed that the main show one evening was a 'sing a long' in the Atrium and that the comedian was the main attraction on two nights.

For a smaller ship, it had a nice and easy to navigate layout. The ship was very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was ample storage in the cabin but storage was lacking in the bathroom. The cabin was quite soundproof and we were not disturbed by outside noise.
We relaxed on the beach for both days on the private island. Games and water sports were offered and the buffet lunch was very good, but there was there were few amenities (pool/swim up bar/hammocks/children's playground, etc).
