Review summary
This is my 6th cruise with NCL, first time on Norwegian Sun, and the only disappointing one. It began before even we started cruising when I received a cabin in the back of the ship but purchased a mid-ship guaranteed. Never trust those words. The ship itself is very old and food was just ok compared to other ships, unless i was dinning in specialty restaurants. The staff was unfriendly and seemed like they didn’t want to be on the ship either. Because of the hurricane we ended up skipping two islands and spent most of the time at sea. There wasn’t much to do or see as far as the entertainment goes. The highlight of this cruise is that I got lots of sleep when the ship wasn’t too rocky. I’m in my mid 30th I definitely wasn’t going on a cruise to sleep. I will be cruising with NCL again but never on a Norwegian Sun.Embarkation
