Service charge for room service, Felt like we were on a discount cruise at retail prices. Much better lifestyle on Celebrity and Royal Carib and Princess. Food was boring, blah.
Embarkation

I had slipped and fallen before boarding plane and was wheelchaired thru embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food and Service is excellent in Specialty Dining Rooms, OK in the 2 main dining rooms but absolutely boring in the 2 buffets, no smoked salmon, overcooked and cold eggs benedict. Their nominal charge for room service is $7.95. First time I have ever incurred a nominal charge of any cost. Buffets were very small as opposed to other ships/lines. Food was not up to other ships standards. Pastry was especially bad and sweet and boring(how about JELLO as a dessert?)
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Seating of any type on sea days was difficult to find. People hogged tables all day. Towels covered 75% of the chairs by 8 AM with maybe 10 people actually sitting in them. MUSIC way too loud and same band every day with same music
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Production shows were fine, Magician was amusing and kept your attention, comic was was off with his "white bashing". I did not come to show to be abused by his "humor". We walked out.
Service and Staff

Cabin service was EXCELLENT our steward went beyond our expectations. Animals made out of towels every night was a nice touch. Ship activity director had a poor choice in clothes, looked disorganized and one night worn a white coat with sleeves 3 inches too long. Hand not holding his microphone hid his fingers...lol

No cabin info about your current spending. App was introduced for first time on this cruise with no advanced notice. If one downloaded app on first day you were ok. If not you incurred fees, Internet is so slow it took me 22 minutes to confirm one flight or about $12 in internet fees. Second to get to performance stage you had to go thru a dance floor, a lounge and a photo shop and then a short ramp to the theater. Electronics on board were outdated. There were basically 2 movies that ran every day. Mr Rogers Doc and a Hans Solo movie. As for the ship channels our next port was always Havana even though we left there on Tuesday and they kept showing the excursions for this port. They never updated any info it seems after Monday (we sailed Dunday)
Captive audience on their own Island. Would rather interact by landing on another Bahama island with real people not a rerun of ship people and staff with a barbecue lunch and shipboard prices. Mohito on ship was $14 while we got one in Havana for $4
We did a private tour 4 people tour , an older Chevy, a driver and a tour guide from 10:30 to 4 with a stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Guide was also a photographer. Rated #2 on Trip Advisor FER Tours (ask for Angel as guide). Ship charges $110 per person for a 3 hour bus tour. We paid $150CUC for 4 plus cost of our lunch. OUTSTANDING GUIDE.
We did carry off luggasge and were first to disembark. Rather long walk after getting off ship we were in section f where our boat docked but customs was in section G. A very long walk and no handicap services
