Review summary

1st and last cruise with Norwegian. Biggest disappointment was food and waitstaff. Housekeeping was OK.

Very disappointed with food quality at open dining rooms. The specialty steak house was good and the buffet for breakfast and lunch was ok.

There were no activities, no giant TV poolside.

Housekeeping personnel were great, bartenders and waitstaff were unfriendly and not service oriented. Very hard to get a drink and bars weren’t that busy. They know they get a gratuity so don’t care about customer service.

Ship tip

They charge you $19.99 per person per day for gratuity. I think that contributes to the attitude of the waitstaff. Of all the cruises I have taken, this boats staff were the least friendliest, least engaged and worst customer focused. It’s a shame.1
