Review summary
When booking we were told that our rooms (7211 & 7212) would be adjoining. We had requested this because this was a sisters reunion and we wanted to be able to visit with each other throughout-what we got were side by side rooms. The food was not up to par (I have cruised on Norwegian many times--it had been my favorite line, but not anymore). They seemed to cut back in all areas, e.g. there was no longer food on the pool deck (previously hamburger, hot dogs, chips, queso, etc. were available during the day). There was a very small, congested pizza service not in the dining/buffet room but behind one of the specialty restaurants if you could find it. On Sunday our rooms smelled like raw sewage--staff said they would check into it. The smell remained all day and when we returned from dinner a maintenance person was "fogging" the hallway (not our rooms) with a very strong lemon scented product which he said was to "sanitize" the area. There were no towel animals in the evening. Luckily we had prepaid gratuities because also shortly before departure date we received update that they were significantly increasing the per person/per day amount. The music was horrible-totally amateurish. The comedian was not in the least funny and the singers could not carry a tune. Overall a very bad experienceEmbarkation
