Room Type: Suite

the trip was average, the food below average except in the specialty dining rooms which were very good.

the Suite. Was the best I have ever had and the highlight of my trip.  The only issue with it was that for suites NCL charges additional $2 pp on the tip. $31 per day for tipping seemed a bit much.  The Concierge was very good and efficient and probably worth the additional tip, but it seemed odd.

the activities were fair, the prices on drinks quite high, the shops were priced higher than Princess, the shows fair.  The tours extremely expensive and mostly sold out before I boarded.

Boarding the ship in Valparaiso and Puert Madryn was a series of upwards ramps which I had only seen in amusement parks!  Not good for pax with canes and disabilities.

Cabin / Stateroom
Fantastic, it had all we needed and the bathroom with separate shower, toilet and a huge tub was the best I ever had
Embarkation and Disembarkation Embarcation a real mess. Disembarkation excellent, we were out of the ship/port in 15 minutes
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Entertainment
Service and Staff
The crew is overworked yet very friendly. The staff almost non existent.
Food and Dining Buffet food always the same, mostly warm, not hot, and lackin taste.
Valparaiso (Santiago), Chile
The boarding of the ship awful, did not get to visit the town.
Puerto Montt, Chile The town is only a souvenirs strip, the tours arranged by the ship extremely expensive and tiring.
Puerto Chacabuco, Chile A fiasco, the tours to the lakes extremely expensive.
Cruise Patagonic Channel
Rough weather, but beautiful
Cruise Chilean Fjords
Awesome sights, a bit rocky
Cruise Strait Of Magellan
Punta Arenas, Chile
Beautiful town but because of Xmas day all was closed. The only tour to the Penguins was sold out before we boarded the shipyard
Cruise Beagle Channel
Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina
Cruise Cape Horn
Port Stanley, Falkland Islands
Excellent tendering service, the tours were sold out before we boarded. There were 3 ships in port, almost 7000 pax in a town of 1500! Not good timing/scheduling by the cruise cos.
Puerto Madryn, Argentina
Montevideo, Uruguay
An unnecessary stop, nothing to offer and on New Year's Day all closed. A waste of time.

Tip

Bistro, Cagneys, Moderno were outstanding restaurants. La Cuccina was quite good but the location is a bit odd. The food in the free of charge restaurants was average, served warm and very repetitious. One day there was shrimp at the buffet which was served by the waitress 6-8 tiny shrimp pp?
