Review summary

we were very disapointed from the moment of the drill it was not very informing and the staff was not friendly they seemed very TIRED!!! then the ship was not well taken care of, we were surprise that the ship was built in 2001 , it seemed old . The food in the garden cafe buffet was not good and with little choices !! Staff seemed tired and fustrated . Overall it seemed like they were trying to save money in everything, it seemed everything was of poor quality like everything was cheap !! even the bathroom towels were harsh and it they looked old.. in resume thehy seemed cheap even the photograph backgrounds were boring and dull and not many choices the poses were always the same and pictures were more expensive from Carnival Sensation pictures and the paper were cheapand they didnt even give you a folder to put them on .... Everything looked like they were trying to save every little money with that compromising the little things that make a cruise special (the towels the robe in the room the friendliness of the staff etc..

we loved it , the water so blue !! it was very clean and with alot of choices for beaches, restaurants were great !! Especially "La Mision" it was very safe !! just keep away of the way too expensive street vendors and stores !!!! $60 for a sea shell ?? its unbelieavable .. But the beauty is unbelievable in playa del carmen .. We really loved it !! Or beware of the atm machines they just give you pesos and confuse totally your credit card or atm machine and almost all of them were out of service we had to get on the small boat again to go back to the ship to go to the atm machine and them come back but the small boats were so SLOW !! so we missed 2 ours just going and coming from our stay there !!

very beautirful and well kept , alot of choices for souvineers and for shopping (great for shopping) a lot of choices for restaurants !! and people were friendly and there was alot of policemans and it felt safe !! the ambience was great with the music and everything. We really loved it !! we would like to go back again !!

very ugly not well kept and it seemed unsafe.. we didnt understand why this is a port of call . we didnt like it at all it looked like the poor places we visit in our missionary trips , very unclean !! nothing what we expected for a vacation !!

Great place to wrap up the cruise !! its so relaxing and beautirful we had a great time the only thing was that we thought there was going to be a barbecue but when we got there , there was no food !! we hadnt had nothing to eat at the ship !! because they did not sell food there just beers !! they need to have more choices for food !!! we were starving !! but anyways we had a nice time !! I just wish they had more things to do and FOOD !!

Pros: Chocoholic Buffet and sitting arrangements

Cons: Food in the buffet ,ship was not well taken care of and most of the crew was not friendly they seemed tired and fustrated.

Recommends Norwegian Sun? No.
