Get to the evening shows early as they fill up pretty fast so you need to get there a good 15 minutes in advance to get a good seat. Can recommend the 4th row back in the middle as good seats except for the final show when two rows farther back would have given a better view. Also, the behind the scenes ship tour was worthwhile.
You can get a better deal, and sometimes a better trip, if you book your off-ship excursions once you exit the ship and come face to face with the hoards of vendors waiting to make you a deal for a day trip.
Aqua restaurant was very good. Versailles not so much because of the attitude of the staff mostly. Overall, the staff was very nice, and made our stay enjoyable.
La Cucina, the Italian specialty restaurant, is great and well worth the cover charge! They have great steak, fish, and Italian staples like chicken parm and fried calamari. No need to pay for Cagney's (which is awesome too) when you can get a great steak at the cheaper Italian restaurant!
Don't miss the nightly entertainment. Bring plastic water bottles. Brin case of soda on board. (Use the in room mini frog.) Go to the La Cucina restaurant to find bridge games. Check at the reception desk, for any on board credits, you cannot apply them to your bill like other cruise lines.
We found and heard about many of the extra fee restaurants were not worth the addtl cost. We did have a great waitress at Cagney's the steakhouse but I think she stood out in comparison to other staff. Meal at La Cucina was atrocious, both food quality and service wise.
There truly aren't words to describe how UNUSUAL and UNIQUE our Villa was onboard ship. This was the once-in-a-lifetime cruise for our family and the ability for all of our family to share it together perfect!
Do NOT book shore excursions with Norwegian, price is twice as much as if you go to tripadvisor, and look inder things to do, the excursions and tours are much more reasonable.
Specialty restaurants well worth the package price. Should offer for breakfast as well. If early risers the served breakfasts are a good option - later dining in the open cafeteria style restaurants depressing - food OK, but eating on plastic with feet sticking to the floor from spills not enjoyable
