Review summary

The best itinerary we've ever had. Greenland, Iceland were areas like no other. Simply breathtaking scenery..

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation in NYC was a bit unorganized. We had a suite and there was a separate line for that, but they let everyone, regardless of cabin in that line. Once through security a staff person looks at your edoc and seems you to the appropriate line. We got sent to the wrong line and when we finally got to the counter they escorted us to the area for suite check- in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The specialty restaurants were all great. Ginza was great too. The main dining rooms didn't allow reservations or their reservation system wasn't working the first few days but it was working buy the third day. I mention that only because the lines were enormous.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Behind the Scenes tour and thermal spa were great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Some of the best entertainment we've seen on NCL ships.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward, butler and wine stewards were outstanding.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Family suite. Large! Butler was awesome.

Ship tip

Given it's a smaller and older ship, the indoor spaced are smaller and can get quite congested. Given the itinerary was in the arctic, we were surprised by the lack of heaters in any outdoor spaces so be prepared. No outdoor heaters like a few other NCL ships.

We spent the morning in Cagney's for breakfast and then got escorted off the ship. It was relaxing and easy.
