We had a nice time - we mainly wanted to relax and we surely did that. Getting on board was good - we arrived a bit later than planned but that seemed to work just fine - no waiting in lines. Our room was nice, quiet, clean (bed was hard) and the balcony was very nice to sit out and enjoy - the chairs on the balcony were comfortable (unlike the seating inside the room - not very comfortable couch to sit and watch TV or read or just relax on. Room attendant was seen a few times, did a nice job - but no towel animals!?! The food on the buffets was good. other amenities were fine as well.

Buffet was good food, but felt kinda cheap, always crowded, enjoyed the main dining room better by far, but bored of the same items on the menu, and limited specials. Did not like the Irish restaurant at all - corned beef and cabbage was a small bowl of soup! What?? We just felt out of place there, like we were not welcome. Cagney's was a huge disappointment in light of spending so much more $ to eat there. Food so so, environment so so, service so so. Bought the water and soda ahead of time, spent too much for what we actually used.

I splurged and went to the spa several times - overpriced for sure - but the massages were wonderful! My only complaint - and it is a big one! - is the staff trying to sell products, products that were unbelievably expensive! This really angered me - I bought $300 worth of stuff - mad at myself - and took it back, worried that they would not take it back, but they did. But they also guilt tripped me for doing so. May not ever use spa services again on another cruise - did not like the cost PLUS the sales of product. The massages were very good though, despite my displeasure related to cost and product sales.

the bed was very uncomfortable! hard as a rock - I kept wishing for a better bed to sleep on. Seating in the room also uncomfortable - that couch! Chairs on the balcony were nice and comfortable. Clean, kept tidy by the attendant. good bathroom
a bit of a line to wait in, but that was to be expected. no - had a terrible time finding our way to the rental agency to rent a car - but that was the rental agencies fault, not Norwegians.
