Pretty fast actually.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffets were fair. Rumors of some people getting sick from food in the Garden Café. Dinning & Specialty Restaurants were good but questionable on whether worth the extra money paid for the specialty dinning.

Onboard Activities

Pools were fair on this ship. Nothing extra special about it though.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent!!! Best part of the ship experience.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
We had a 10, 13 & 14 year old minors that kept them from experiencing the club/music & dance experience because of age difference. NCL might consider looking at the age requirements so that everyone can experience a family venture together.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Bartenders for most part were great. Room stewards and waiters were fair. A couple of incidents that a few were rude.

Ship Quality

This ship was remodeled recently but the changes were not that improved to me. This was the 3rd trip on this ship. Pool area could use some slides or something more exciting with it. Maybe rock climbing, etc.?

Cabin / Stateroom

This was not a comfortable room. There was 1 adult and two teenagers in this room and it was extremely way too small for us. We upgraded to a balcony thinking we would be more comfortable having more room for the extra money we paid but it was far from that. Two twins and a small couch that made into a bed in which we had to leave open the whole time making it extremely tight to walk around and even get to the balcony. Bathroom was way too small for me (adult male). I was hitting walls, etc. "everytime" I was in there.

Ship tip

Look into a new ship to sail on unless there's a truly good price for this ship and don't waiste the extra money for a balcony.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Not much here but a lot of commercial shipping cargo containers around. Nothing to write home about!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Nice atmosphere with things to do. Toured the city, shopping, etc.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Price was good! This was probably the best bank for the buck. Took a private tour. Went to a private beach resort, had a special lunch at local resturant.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Lots to view, do and enjoy here! We did a private tour guide excursion in a very comfortable van once we docked and for a lot less money. It was created to our interest and desires in our visit to this port. Visited the rock formations via a glass bottom boat, swimming on the beach, snorkling, etc. A very exciting and welcoming environment. Only complaint... Not enough time there. It was advertise that we would leave port there at 3:00pm but instead were told we had to be back on board by 1:30. Shorted 1.5 hours.
