Review summary
We are low-maintenance cruisers...like being on a ship, don't get bored, have our own things to do, don't spend a lot (why?) Like Norwegian's thrifty re-positioning cruises. Sometimes hop on a cruise from New York having booked the day before (if the price is right). This was a most pleasant, adult cruise with good food and fine service; 3 days in Barcelona was a plus. Buffet was fine, main dining room was fine...a very welcoming space. Star is less rules conscious in some respects than other Norwegian ships which suited me...might well have been an issue had the ship been full of teenagers. We will certainly consider taking this cruise again. One small negative, the library is completely internal and not very pleasant.Embarkation
