Review summary

The kids program is the worst!! We got called/paged every night!! We didn't get to see any of the shows, have a dinner for just us, limited casino time, etc...... Got called to pick up kids due to headache, bumped elbow, kids hungry after having dinner 30 minutes to dropping them off!! Seams like the staff just didn't want to work!!! Every time I went to pick up the kids found the staff off in a corner talking on phones, playing games on phones or talking with each other. My kids told me they wanted to play but staff wanted us to take them!!! Very rude staff!! My kids wanted to go to carnival cruise camp!!!! Everyday they would ask!!!! We will NEVER SAIL ON NORWEGIAN AGAIN!! It was the first time and last!!!

I agree with tbend-Disney is the best for kids!!! Kids can eat dinner with you then the staff will pick them up and take them to the next program! My daughter and the little boy at our table become great friends and we hardly saw either of them!!! We literally had to drag her from the area two separate times so we could spend some family time together!!!

I never assumed it was a behavior issue with your kids MiChelle. I was amazed that someone jumped to that conclusion. Sorry about that. If your kids didn't make these complaints to the staff either than I agree with your anger.

When I was told the kids had a headache or bumped elbow I went to pick them up right away!!! When I got there the girls told me they are fine!!! Running around playing!!! Didn't look hurt at all. Wanted to stay and play!!! STAFF said " it would be better to take them"!!! There was no behavior problems!!!!!! If so, that I would have understood !!!! The staff was just lazy and didn't want to work !! Talking and playing games on their phones and sitting in the corner talking to each other not paying attention to the kids......

We have sailed on Carnival 10 to 12 times never had a problem. This was the first time on Norwegian in the last time!!!!

oh and they didn't behave... if they crying about an elbow or headache are you serious but she's complaining about how she didn't even get to get through dinner or I woulda gave my kids the look @TeresaC1963

Oh I know about the look and my kids knew mine too. But it was when they were doing something wrong. Where is there any indication that Michelle's kids needed that look? It could be they were really hurt in which case the cruise line was correct or it could be the staff made it all up to get rid of the kids in which case maybe their mothers needed to give them the look. Lol

I can understand being upset over the "being hungry" but the headache and bumping elbow is different. This isn't licensed daycare or healthcare. They can't take that kind of responsibility. Had your children made those complaints. If so the cruise line was in the right. If not, then I agree you have a right to be upset.
