My husband, our 21 year old, and 13 year old just returned from a NCL cruise to Baja.  The overall cruise was fine, however we ran into several 'hiccups' having to do with the ultimate beverage package, excursion, and dining pkg we booked through Oribtz.  Make sure Orbits provides you terms and conditions for these packages in writing.  Look for exclusions/black-out dates for the packages being accepted on the cruise boat before you purchase from .

Ship Quality
Ship way under staffed in all areas (cleaning, bar areas, recpetion desk). We heard 1/2 the crew quit right before sail. Not sure if that was true though.
Food and Dining
Overall good.

Service and Staff
Lattitudes Mgr on NCL Star was superb!
Superb. Great comedian. Good Broadway-type show on last night.
Children's Programs
Teen program was a BIG hit for my 13 year old.
Onboard Activities
Bingo very expensive 6 sheets for $70. Bingo does 4 squares, horizontal game, then last game is blackout. So expect the games to go very quick.
Destinations and Excursions
Took the Wild Canyon Zip Line. Was a good excursion and great staff at the zip line.
San Pedro (Los Angeles), California
Once you go into the cruise terminal, you are not allowed to exit. So if you are hungry or need to go to the bathroom, do so before entry.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Good solid Mexican food if you are looking for authentic!

Inquire about staff size since our trip appeared to be extremely short staffed. The poor team that did worked were working 16 hr/day in diff areas to try to accomodat
