Review summary

My husband, our 21 year old, and 13 year old just returned from a NCL cruise to Baja. The overall cruise was fine, however we ran into several 'hiccups' having to do with the ultimate beverage package, excursion, and dining pkg we booked through Oribtz. Make sure Orbits provides you terms and conditions for these packages in writing. Look for exclusions/black-out dates for the packages being accepted on the cruise boat before you purchase from .

Bingo very expensive 6 sheets for $70. Bingo does 4 squares, horizontal game, then last game is blackout. So expect the games to go very quick.

Ship way under staffed in all areas (cleaning, bar areas, recpetion desk). We heard 1/2 the crew quit right before sail. Not sure if that was true though.

Know blackout dates for package deals to avoid you from purchasing something and not having the ship honor it due to blackout dates. Inquire about staff size since our trip appeared to be extremely short staffed. The poor team that did worked were working 16 hr/day in diff areas to try to accomodat

It always pays to read the fine print and then read it again. It is also good practice to print it out and take it with you. Sorry that these packages did not work out for you but at least the cruise went well. What did you not like about your cabin?
