Review summary
The ship facilities, amenities and personnel were all very nice, although the pool seemed a bit small for the amount of people using it and the number of deck chairs insufficient to handle the crowds. We had a balcony room and found it very nicely appointed. Food service was excellent, prompting an "emergency" diet upon returning home! :-) Prices were reasonable, although we thought Carnival had slightly better prices for the same amenities. Offshore excursions seemed overpriced, there we did not participate. (A problem that does not seemed to be limited to Norwegian.) Ports of call: • Porta Maya (Mexico): Not much there outside of the security "buffer" zone. The setup for shopping was nice with reasonable prices; the bars offered drinks at US prices (albeit cheaper than on board the ship). • Roatan (Honduras): Once again, a nice security/port area, but horrific poverty is "in your face" once you step outside of the gated zone. • Belize City (Belize): As above. • Cozumel (Mexico): Probably already well enough covered in other reviews. All-in-all, not a bad trip. We enjoyed ourselves and were able to secure a fairly good rate through the site.Ship experiences

Ship tip
The Aqua and Versailles Rooms had nice sit-down meals in a more formal atmosphere. We did not go to any of the specialty restaurants, since the incurred an additional charge.
