very dissatisfied with cruise!

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

As stated above all but 3 restaurants had a cover charge per person to eat at, some were as high as $35.00 per person! That is $70.00 per couple! I thought the cruise was all inclusive for food. Also as stated above a 15% autogratuity was charged on all purchases, including a $12.00 service charge per day per person! I was also given a $100.00 credit by but only given a $70.00 credit by NCL? The off-road buggy adventure excursion was only 2 hours long, not the 3 1/2 hours told. The off road buggy were in very poor condition and unsafe to operate!

Pros: only the room

Cons: out of 12 restaurants only 3 did not have a cover charge to eat at! Thought gratuity was included in cost of cruise, like other cruise ships, but NCL charges a 15% auto gratuity on all purchases!

Recommends Norwegian Star? No.

Food and Dining
As stated above could only eat at 3 dinning rooms with out paying a cover charge. Because of the cost we could not eat at these other dinning rooms as we had a strict budge to follow and did not expect this!
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
To much of a tourist trap.
Don't Miss: none
