Review summary

You are a captive when you board a big ship like this. But it is very nice jail time and the jailers are lots of fun! Not sure I would want to be on the same boat for 10 weeks, however.

The buffet was very good and we liked the Aqua cafe - white tablecloth dining with no cover (extra) charge. We didn't try some of the more expensive places that had a $25/person cover.

Entertainment

The Stardust Theater is amazing and the shows were very good.

Service and Staff

Talented too! The cruise member show at the end was great. Everyone was working very hard and they were friendly and attentive.

Ship Quality

We got lost all the time. Never did get to all of the restaurants and bars. Pool area was a little too noisy for our taste but there were always quiet spots to find a deck chair.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very nicely laid out for a small stateroom. Quality furnishing with a very attentive steward. We had one of the midship smallest rooms on deck 5 with a window. That way we didn't feel much rocking yet could see the wave action from the window. Go for the small up-charge for the window.

With short shore visits like this we just walked around and had lunch. You don't have time to really get to know the town.

We had spent a couple of weeks here on a previous trip and enjoyed walking the old town and visiting some of the shops and a sidewalk cafe we loved (again).

Don't Miss: The church and the sand sculpures.

Cons: No complaints for our first cruise
