Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Suite

Nothing broken or dirty in the room, every area of the ship looked in top shape food ranged from good to excellent, staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend this trip.

Pros: Sawyer glacier crusing- saw mountain goats, the size of the glacier was amazing!

Cons: nothing

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!

Food and Dining
Buffet was nice, cagney's was great so was Tempanyaki
Cabin / Stateroom
Nice! We had a mini-suite it was great with the balcony for the cruise. We could see everything
Service and Staff
Never saw a frown from anyone. Always helpful
Entertainment
Fantastic entertainment from piano players to Second City skits and chinese acrobats, just great for all ages
Children's Programs
Kids cried when they had to leave!
Ship Quality
Everything looked great, nothing broken or worn anywhere.
Ketchikan, Alaska
We took the power boat trip through the back rivers fantastic trip!
Don't Miss: See the "pld town" on pilings, we saw a sea otter under the wharf. Salmon run starts next week a don't miss sight.
Skagway, Alaska
recommend the train trip, good shopping at the Coventry museum with petrified ivory carvings available and quality gauranteed
Juneau, Alaska
Mendenhal Glacier is a nice trip pales in comparison to the Sawyer glacier though. Save money and take a taxi half what you'd pay on the ship tour.
Prince Rupert, British Columbia
stay on the ship, this port has nothing of value. The rain forest hike was a ripoff!
