Summer 2010 Cruise Review
Norwegian Star Cruise Review to Alaska - Inside Passage
Sail Date: June 05, 2010
Ship: Norwegian Star
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Review SummaryShip had construction in numerous staterooms throughout ship, creating noise starting at 8am each day. No theater. Indoor viewing area almost non-existing outside of the bufffet area (if your stateroom doesn't have a balcony or some other outdoor area, you'll be hard-pressed to locate a seat where you can gaze upon the beauty of the Inside Passage/Alaska or elsewhere for that matter) that is somewhat protected from the weather/wind. The NCL Star is not a good ship to take Alaska cruises on.

Announcements hard to hear, except for the Assistant-Cruise Director hawking Bingo.
Windows somewhat dirty or water stained, making buffet window viewing difficult.
